Hi! I’m Nathan. I retired at 38 from a C-level corporate career where I led analytics and engineering teams. After the dust settled, I realized I missed working with others and started a second act as a flat-fee financial advisor. I felt others like me deserved more than the opaque services and high fees of traditional wealth managers.

Here’s how we helped others optimize their early retirement strategy in just three sessions:

A simple, stylized black silhouette of a heart.

Created multiple passive income streams for a former C-level exec to live off their assets without selling shares while they explored various second acts

Stylized icon of a tree silhouette with a simple design.

Helped a senior HR professional reduce their estimated retirement timeline by 10+ years through withdrawal sequencing and Rule of 55

A simple black silhouette of a balloon.

Unlocked hundreds of thousands of retirement funds to support early retirement through a custom rolling Roth conversion and 72(t) strategy

Quote from Lauren and Jonathan, current clients of Kangpan & Co. "We both have finance backgrounds. We didn't need more info, we wanted a clear plan and partner to help implement it."

Pressure test your early retirement strategy

Here are the three areas we’ll go through together in detail during our sessions:

01. BUILDING TOWARDS EARLY RETIREMENT

  • Timing: Are you on track for your target retirement date? What’s the earliest you could retire? How do you get there faster?
  • Blind spots: Have you properly incorporated taxes into your calculations? What about the cost of health insurance?
  • Lifestyle: How do you take into account your spouse wanting to keep their job? How do you think about affording college while retiring early?

02. FUNDING EARLY RETIREMENT

  • Unlocking Retirement Funds: How do you efficiently access your retirement funds before 59.5?
  • Withdrawal Strategy: What’s the best way to fund the first few years of your early retirement? Which accounts should you pull from?
  • Spend Thresholds: How much can you safely spend each year? Is the 4% rule right for your needs?
  • Additional Income: How would a small side hustle affect your plans? What about any passive income you already have?

03. INVESTMENT STRATEGIES

  • Sequence of Returns: How can you protect yourself against sequence of returns risk?
  • Alternative Portfolios: Are there other investment strategies like Risk Parity or Income-focused approaches that suit your needs better than a three fund portfolio?

Common Questions:

Q: Do I have to sign up for ongoing services after?

  • Nope. Our Tune-Up is meant to provide you with the core strategies and recommendations you need to continue managing your finances on your own. There’s no obligation to sign up for ongoing services.

Q: What if I want ongoing help after?

  • We’d be happy to explore working together on an ongoing basis. Our ongoing, comprehensive wealth management services start at just $599/month with no long-term obligations.

Q: Is this virtual or in-person?

  • We are based in the Philadelphia area but work virtually with clients across the US.

Q: What do I need to prepare before an intro call?

  • There’s no need to prepare anything in advance of the complimentary intro call. If you’d like to proceed with the full tune-up, we’ll send you a list of key items that we’ll need from you before our Blueprint meeting. Many items are optional, but the more info you give us the better our recommendations will be.

Q: I already have an advisor, is this still useful?

  • Possibly. If you feel your current advisor is not providing you with the early retirement help you need then our Tune-Up functions as a more structured second opinion on your finances. If you’re not sure, reach out to set up a complimentary intro call and we can talk through whether this is the right fit for you.

I’d love to meet you, let’s chat!
